Job summary

Amteck is seeking Traveling Safety Coordinators to oversee the safety of electrical trades on each job site and to perform safety audits. The role requires leading and motivating staff to follow safety procedures and maintaining OSHA 10/30 certifications with OSHA 500 preferred.

The position offers per diem, comprehensive medical/dental/vision benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, and eight paid holidays. Traveling to multiple sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations in regards to construction.
• Prior experience overseeing the safety for electrical tradesmen.
• Ability to effectively lead, influence, and motivate staff in regards to safety procedures.
• Current OSHA 10 and/or 30 Hour Certification required; OSHA 500 strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of all electrical trades on each job site assigned.
• Perform safety audits and take corrective actions for any accidents or incidents.
