CorVel Corporation is seeking a Hospital Bill Audit Nurse to conduct hospital bill charge audits by reviewing medical records to verify services and charges align with documentation and guidelines. Audits may cover inpatient, outpatient, NICU, and hospice, with travel to provider locations as needed.

The role requires RN licensure in Texas, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and at least 5 years of OR/ICU/ER experience.

Formación

• Associate Degree in Nursing and current RN license in Texas.
• Experience in hospital billing audits or related chart review is preferred.
• 5+ years of OR/ICU/ER nursing experience is highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Audit hospital bills by reviewing medical records for accuracy and documentation.
• Identify overcharges/undercharges, unbundled items, and coding discrepancies.
• Document findings per standard guidelines and communicate with Audit Coordinator.
• Travel onsite to provider locations to perform audits as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient information.
