Job summary

CorVel Corporation is seeking a Bill Review Analyst to audit and enter medical bills across multiple states and lines of business. This is a remote position requiring at least one week of in-person training at the Charlotte, NC office.

You will review bills for appropriateness, consult reference materials, and aim for high accuracy and fast keystrokes while supporting customer service goals and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and workers’ compensation billing guidelines.
• Familiarity with CPT/ICD/HCPCS coding and CMS forms preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication.
• Attention to accuracy and fast data entry in a regulated setting.

Responsibilities

• Audit medical bills for adherence to state schedules and guidelines.
• Data-entry and documentation of bill review findings.
• Maintain high accuracy and efficiency in a remote setting with periodic training.
