Job summary

Physician Directed Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our surgical centers. The role provides patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting and requires strong assessment and pre/postoperative nursing skills.

Travel between multiple ambulatory surgery centers is required; reports to the ASC Executive Director. The position offers comprehensive benefits and collaborative team work in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Registered nursing license in Georgia required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification encouraged, but not required.
• Demonstrates knowledge to provide age-specific care.
• Professionalism and adaptability are essential.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the patient for surgery by assessing physical, psychological, and social states and recording vitals.
• Ensure operative and informed consents are signed and correct.
• Oversees timely flow of patients throughout the surgery center.
• Initiate IVs and inform patients about the procedure.
• Maintain supplies, ensure cleanliness, and list needed items.
• Identify symptoms and take timely action.
• Provide excellent patient care and decision-making in emergencies.
• Perform nursing care in postoperative/postanesthesia period.
• Answer questions and ensure patient comfort and reassurance.
• Monitor patients and report changes to physicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
