Job summary

UNFI is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to provide consistent, quality service at assigned store locations, stocking and merchandising products, executing planograms and supporting home store and cycle coverage programs.

The role requires travel up to 95% and strong organizational and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining compliance with HACCP/SQF policies where applicable.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Auto Insurance levels that meet UNFI requirements.
• Minimum 1-year related experience in Retail or Distribution.
• Prior customer service experience in a retail setting.
• Food related product experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and implement planograms; adjust sections as needed and report planogram compliance issues.
• Visit retailers on Home Store or Field Sales program to execute customer plans and provide feedback.
• Rotate stock, remove out-of-code products, process merchandise returns and issue credits.
• Interpret internal reports and complete required paperwork accurately.
• Engage customers and promote promotional and sales programs to boost sales.
