Job summary

UNFI is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to service a defined group of customers in Wilson, NC. The role focuses on stocking merchandise, executing planograms, and supporting shelf resets while adhering to HACCP/SQF guidelines. Local candidates only.

The position requires ability to drive to customer accounts, lift up to 40 lbs, and travel up to 95% as needed. Prior retail or distribution experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and implement planograms.
• Basic computer skills involving Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and implement planograms in store and adjust sections as needed.
• Visit retailers on Home Store or Field Sales plans and provide feedback.
• Rotate stock, remove out-of-date products and process merchandise returns.
• Assist in creating and interpreting internal reports and complete paperwork accurately.
• Support sales through merchandising and promotional displays.
• Engage with customers and UNFI stakeholders to strengthen relationships.
