Job summary

UNFI is seeking a local Retail Merchandiser to provide consistent service at store locations. You will stock, merchandise, and execute shelf resets, while following HACCP and SQF policies. Travel to customer accounts is required, with potential for in-store promotions and POS setup.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong organization, and effective communication with store teams and UNFI stakeholders. On-site at distribution centers or offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related experience in retail or distribution.
• Prior customer service experience in a retail setting.
• Food related product experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and implement planograms in store.
• Visit retailers on Home Store or Field Sales program on schedule.
• Rotate stock and process merchandise returns.
• Interpret and facilitate internal reports on assigned projects.
• Engage customers and promote promotional programs.
• Maintain relations with customers and UNFI stakeholders.
• Order products aligned with customer needs and display them in stores.
• Develop action plans with supervision to meet deadlines and budget.
• Engage customers with the full Professional Services Portfolio.
