Job summary

McClatchy Media Company is seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser to service products in multiple stores, with travel between accounts. The role is on-site in Heath, KY, reporting to the Supervisor of Merchandising. Duties include merchandising to planograms, replenishment, and coordinating with store personnel.

Travel may be required up to 100% of the time. The position is non-exempt, with a competitive wage of $15 per hour including travel time.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• Work 100% Merchandising in a retail environment, replenish product, and follow store/corporate standards.
• Service all stores as scheduled; obtain approval for hours outside schedule.
• Record work hours and related information using designated apps.
• Coordinate duties with store personnel and supervisor as needed.
• Handle returns and ensure correct product handling.
