Job summary

McClatchy in Central City, KY is seeking an on-site Part-Time Merchandising Associate to service multiple stores on designated weekdays, with travel between accounts.

The role requires strong interpersonal and written communication skills, reliability, and the ability to multitask and follow planograms. Travel is up to 100% of the time and compensation starts at $15 per hour, with travel time paid.

This is a non-exempt, on-site position contingent on background checks and drug testing.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and other required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Work within a retail environment to merchandise products by store standards; replenish products safely and efficiently; may assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours; seek approval from Supervisor before overtime.
• Record work hours and other information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties with store personnel not listed herein with Supervisor before performing those duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work stores as scheduled; handle all product correctly including returns; follow planograms and flowcharts; maintain regular communication with Supervisor; develop relationships with store personnel.
