Job summary

Sevan Multi-Site Solutions is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects across the United States. You will oversee safety, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project execution from groundbreaking through closeout.

The role requires 90–100% nationwide travel, with on-site leadership at active retail, restaurant and grocery projects. Strong knowledge of safety, quality control, and field reporting is essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management or related field.
7+ years of construction experience; 3+ years as a Superintendent for a General Contractor.
Experience managing commercial construction projects and coordinating subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Oversee all onsite construction activities and field operations.
Direct subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to maintain productivity and progress.
Develop and manage short-term look-ahead schedules aligned with the master project schedule.
Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and labor to maintain workflow.
Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance; conduct safety meetings and inspections.
Ensure work meets plans, specifications, and quality standards; perform jobsite walkthroughs.
Manage subcontractor performance, scope execution, and schedule adherence; resolve field issues.
Maintain daily reports (manpower, progress, weather, safety) and communicate updates to Project Manager.
Assist with RFIs, change orders, and field directives as needed.
Manage punch lists, inspections, and project turnover; support as-built delivery.
