Job summary

Aviata Health Group is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist to provide skilled RT services in a rehab-focused SNF environment across Lake Mary, S. Daytona and Palm Coast. The role requires traveling between facilities and delivering comprehensive respiratory care.

You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, perform diagnostic testing, document care, and collaborate with physicians and care teams. A current RT license is required and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited program for Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current license in the state of practice as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient treatments meeting patient needs and uses current treatment knowledge.
• Develops treatment plans and obtains physician approvals.
• Documents care clearly following regulatory and facility requirements.
• Collaborates with supervisors and the rehab team on patient progress.
• Educates patients and families on therapy plans and follow-up.
