Job summary
Planned Parenthood South Atlantic (PPSAT) seeks a Float Clinician to rotate across all health centers in Virginia and North Carolina. You will deliver ambulatory reproductive health services, participate in abortion care, and support diverse communities while maintaining high clinical standards.
You will carry licensure in NP/CNM roles, CPR certification, and 1–2 years of medical experience, with travel across NC and VA.
Qualifications
- Active licensure as APRN/NP/CNM with reproductive health experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- 1–2 years medical clinical experience, preferably in gynecology or family planning.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed goals across clinical quality, patient satisfaction, workplace culture and sustainability.
- Conduct comprehensive reproductive and general health histories and document findings.
- Perform physical exams including pelvic/breast exams, pap smears, STI diagnosis and related procedures.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests following PPSAT clinical standards.
- Provide patient education on fertility, contraception, STIs, and preventive health.
