Job summary

OPCO Skilled Managment is hiring Traveling Construction Technicians to perform renovation and construction work in occupied senior living and long-term care facilities across the United States.

Positions require drywall hanging, finishing, painting, framing, and cabinet installation with the ability to travel extensively to project locations in multiple states. This is a full-time role with overtime opportunities and travel per diem.

Qualifications

• Construction experience required.
• Strong drywall, painting, framing, and finish carpentry skills preferred.
• Experience with cabinet installation, handrails, and facility renovations.
• Minor electrical and plumbing experience is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform renovation and construction work in occupied senior living and long-term care facilities.
• Install and finish drywall, including patching, taping, floating, texturing, and repairs.
• Perform interior and finish painting, including surface preparation, patching, priming, and finish coats.
• Construct wood and metal stud framing.
• Install cabinets, handrails, doors, trim, and other finish carpentry items.
• Perform general facility repairs and renovation work.
• Follow project plans, schedules, and safety requirements.
• Maintain professionalism while working around residents and facility staff.
• Travel extensively to project locations in multiple states.
