Job summary

Ameritech Facility Services LLC is seeking a full-time, experienced handyman/technician to travel and assist clients with building repairs. The role focuses on retail and restaurant projects, requiring carpentry expertise, electrical, plumbing, and flooring familiarity.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in commercial construction, a clean driving record, and must own a truck. Travel is regionally focused (50-75%), with day-work and some nights/weekends possible to complete projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience, preferably restaurant.
• Ability to travel regionally (50-75%).
• Clean driving record and personal transportation.
• Must have a truck.
• Tools (drills, saws, hammers, ladders, cords, shop vac, caulking gun, etc).
• Cell phone and good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn other skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform building repairs for retail and restaurant locations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair construction-related issues.
• Build relationships with clients and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Travel as required; some interstate trips may occur.
