Job summary

Black Women’s Mental Health Institute is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings. The role focuses on applying the nursing process, collaborating with physicians, and delivering comprehensive care from prevention through follow-up.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree, an unencumbered RN license (multistate where applicable), and at least one year of nursing experience with some travel assignments.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license in the practicing state, with multistate licensure if applicable.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience and six months of travel nursing experience.
• Residency at least 60 miles from the facility location.
• Required competencies and certifications maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process from assessment to evaluation to deliver individualized care.
