Job summary

Metroplex Endodontics & Microsurgery - Mansfield is seeking a skilled and licensed Registered Dental Assistant to join our busy specialty practice and help deliver a world-class patient experience.

You will support the clinical team with four-handed dentistry, sterilization, radiographs, and patient education, while also handling scheduling, records, and administrative tasks. Travel between Mansfield and Duncanville offices is required.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant license required.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant.
• Experience in an Endodontist office.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program (if required by state law).
• Proficiency in sterilization protocols and infection control procedures.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude.
• Knowledge of dental software and basic administrative tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively with doctors and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and preparing patients for treatment.
• Assisting the dentist with procedures using four-handed dentistry.
• Sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean, organized operatory.
• Taking and developing dental radiographs in compliance with state regulations.
• Providing post-operative care instructions and oral hygiene education.
• Scheduling appointments and follow-up visits.
• Managing patient records accurately and securely.
• Assisting with insurance and payment processing.
• Supporting front desk and administrative functions as needed.
• Must be able to travel between our Mansfield and Duncanville offices as needed.
