Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. seeks a traveling Service Technician to repair, maintain, and support industrial refrigeration equipment for customers. Requires knowledge of commercial/industrial refrigeration and electrical controls.

The position follows a 10-day tour schedule, traveling Tue–Thu of the following week, with alternating Fri–Mon off, typically 50–60 hours weekly. Competitive base pay start at $30–$60/hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ of relevant experience in supermarket/rack/industrial refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of controls and electric (high and low voltage).
• Universal EPA certification.
• Motor alignment experience.
• RETA 1&2 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance support for industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems; inspect and maintain equipment.
• Adhere to all work safety policies and procedures.
