Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a traveling Service Technician to support industrial refrigeration equipment across North America.

The role requires knowledge of ammonia and Freon systems, electrical controls, and preventive maintenance for 100 HP to 5,000 HP installations. The position follows a 10-day tour schedule with 50-60 hours per week, demanding physical fitness and ability to pass drug and background screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC tech school preferred.
• EPA Universal certification or ability to obtain.
• RETA 1 and 2 certification preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and background screenings.
• Ability to wear a respirator and pass fit test.
• Physically able to climb ladders and work long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance support of industrial refrigeration equipment for key accounts.
• Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls and alarms on industrial systems.
• Adhere to safety policies and governng requirements; provide on-site support.
