Job summary

OmniTRAX, Inc. seeks an Engineer/Conductor to oversee trains, freight and crew, operate switches, couple/uncouple cars, and place cars in yards or on the mainline to support loading and unloading. You will travel to company locations across the Continental U.S.

while keeping Denver as your primary work location, and communicate with dispatchers to ensure safe, compliant train movements under FRA rules. Responsibilities include safe train operation, managing throttle and brake controls,

Responsibilities

• Move trains safely in yards and on roads.
• Operate throttle and brake controls; interpret gauges and controls.
• Coordinate railcar switch lists and communicate with yard personnel.
• Ensure compliance with FRA rules and railroad safety.
• Prepare daily reports and switch lists.
