United States Rail & Logistics in Hudson, Colorado, seeks a Railroad Engineer/Conductor to safely move railcars within our industrial facility and coordinate switching operations. You will inspect locomotives and railcars, communicate with ground crews, and ensure efficient service for customers.

Preferred candidates have experience as Railroad Conductor/Engineer or Industrial Switchman, can operate locomotives safely, and will pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Experience as Railroad Conductor, Engineer, or Industrial Switchman preferred.
• Safely operate locomotives and manage rail movements inside a plant/yard.
• Pass background check and drug/alcohol screening (including random testing).

Responsabilités

• Perform locomotive operations including starting, stopping, coupling, and uncoupling railcars.
• Execute daily industrial switching tasks in accordance with customer needs and company procedures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of locomotives and railcars.
• Communicate clearly with ground crews, operators, and control teams via radio.
• Ensure strict compliance with all FRA, OSHA, and company safety standards.
• Complete necessary paperwork, movement logs, and operational reports.
• Operate in all weather conditions and maintain awareness in a high-hazard environment.
