Job summary

MCC, Inc. in Appleton, WI is seeking a QC Technician / Production Testing to travel to job sites and perform production testing and QC procedures on asphalt, concrete, and aggregate materials.

You will work with a team and help educate internal and external stakeholders about product design and quality. The role emphasizes maintaining laboratory facilities, equipment, and personal certifications, while staying compliant with company policy and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin DOT Aggregate, Asphalt, and Concrete Testing Certification helpful
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Certification helpful
• Possess valid State of Wisconsin Driving License and satisfactory driving record
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (both general and technical)
• Self-motivated with independent judgment and decision-making skills to perform work tasks without supervision
• Excellent organization and mechanical skills with the ability to multi-task
• Developed computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to establish priorities in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
• Ability to assess various job site hazards and work safely to prevent accidents and injuries
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, with an understanding of advanced Math Skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Travel to various job sites to conduct production testing and control procedures for asphalt, concrete, and aggregate materials
• Work in a team environment and build professional relationships with internal and external team members
• Provide support and education regarding product design and quality
• Operate and maintain laboratory facilities and equipment
• Maintain personal certifications and comply with workplace rules and regulations
