Job summary

Graywolf Integrated Construction is seeking a traveling ELC QA/QC Inspector for Sealy, TX. The role requires performing quality inspections across welding, piping, vessels, and related equipment, with familiarity in ASME, NBIC, API, AWS, and related codes.

The candidate should have four years of experience in heavy industrial projects, strong English communication, and the ability to coordinate testing, documentation, and subcontractor oversight on site.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of formal training and experience in heavy industrial projects such as refineries, petro-chemical complexes, power plants, etc.
• Experience in understanding WPSs, PQRs, and WPQs.
• Ability to effectively interact with project team members, clients, subcontractors and craft employees.
• Must be capable of obtaining or possess inspection licenses and/or certifications as required.
• Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions as required by client and/or facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on welding, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, piping, mechanical equipment, painting and coatings, structural steel and fabricated materials.
• Read, read and interpret codes, standards and specifications as required by job.
• Ensure turnover of complete quality control package(s) and maintain turnover documentation.
• Maintain project quality records and audit plans for the construction phase.
• Coordinate calibration records and testing activities.
