Job summary

Graywolf Integrated Construction Company is seeking a traveling QA/QC CWI for Cameron, LA. The role covers welding and codes inspections across heavy industrial projects, with responsibility for testing, calibration, and documentation.

Candidates should have 4+ years of experience, current CWI, and strong coordination with project teams. The position requires travel to multiple sites, ability to read and interpret standards, and preparedness to obtain additional certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of formal training and experience in heavy industrial projects such as refineries, petro-chemical complexes, power plants.
• Current CWI required.
• Experience in understanding WPSs, PQRs, and WPQs.
• Ability to effectively interact with project team members, clients, subcontractors and craft employees.
• Must be capable of obtaining or possess inspection licenses and/or certifications as required.
• Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions as required by client and/or facility policy.
• Must be able to communicate and document via company web mail programs.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections regarding welding and welders' certifications, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and boilers, piping, mechanical equipment, painting and coatings, structural steel and fabricated materials.
• Read and interpret codes, standards and specifications as required by the project.
• Ensure contract obligations for testing and recordkeeping are adhered to.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure testing equipment is current.
• Oversee turnover of quality control packages and promote organized documentation.
