Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a compassionate Psychiatrist to provide in-person psychiatric services across approximately 8–12 Mental Health Group Homes throughout Delaware, with regular travel between locations.

The role involves medication management, psychiatric evaluations, and ongoing care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team within community-based settings. This hourly, multi-site position offers rich opportunities for professional growth and meaningful impact.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Psychiatry and Delaware prescribing privileges.
• At least three years of experience with individuals with serious mental illness.
• Experience in outpatient settings with adults is preferred and required for this role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide in-person psychiatric services across approximately 8–12 Mental Health Group Homes throughout Delaware, with regular travel between locations.
• Provide medication management, psychiatric evaluations, medication checks, and ongoing psychiatric care.
• Provide emergency psychiatric services in person or by telephone as needed to ensure appropriate care during a crisis or inpatient hospitalization.
• Order and review medications and laboratory tests.
• Complete daily documentation regarding individuals' progress and response to medications.
• Document sessions through progress notes and other required documentation in the EHR.
• Review and update treatment plans, summaries, SSDI evaluations, and other required legal or clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team, agencies, and providers to promote continuity of care.
• Support individuals and programs in maintaining applicable licensing, compliance, best-practice expectations, and RHD values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
