Job summary

Siegel Suites is seeking a Roving Maintenance Assistant in Montgomery, AL to perform daily maintenance, handle work orders, and monthly preventative tasks at multiple properties.

The role requires travel across Montgomery, reliable transportation, and ability to work weekends and holidays; you will assist Lead Maintenance and ensure units are ready for tenants with professional appearance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 years maintenance experience.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work in cramped, dirty / dusty, cold or hot conditions.
• Own maintenance tools.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance to turn units and complete work orders within 24 hours.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance on all units.
• Assist Lead Maintenance and communicate with Tenants, Management, and team members.
• Maintain tools and ensure adequate parts and supplies.
• Respond to on-call duties to assist tenants with issues.
• Keep curb appeal by picking up trash and reporting issues to the Property Manager.
