Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a traveling Construction Supervisor to oversee field operations on a major project. You will coordinate with owners, architects, and engineers, ensure schedules and budgets are met, and lead field staff to deliver quality work.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least eight years of building construction experience, with BIM and Lean knowledge. Domestic travel is required, with a living and travel stipend provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of four years' related training and at least eight years of building construction experience.
• Thorough knowledge of general and subcontract documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to implement BIM and Lean to benefit the project.
• Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills; effective written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of accounting and cost control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Primary liaison with owners, architects, and engineers for day-to-day construction activities.
• Develop and implement project work schedules identifying the critical path.
• Lead, supervise, and develop Turner field staff; participate in performance appraisals.
• Develop and manage the site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance.
• Oversee trades coordination, permitting, insurance, and compliance for the project.
• Manage WIP billing and monthly estimates; ensure work aligns with contract documents.
