Job summary

Cash Construction Corp, a MasTec company, is seeking a Project Scheduler to oversee resource planning for in-house and subcontracted field crews across central Texas. You will assist the project manager with schedule planning, coordination of tasks and monitor timelines of scheduled assignments.

This is a traveling position with up to 25% travel, relocation assistance may be provided, and a strong background in MS Project or Primavera P6 is preferred for heavy civil and utilities projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Project or P6 expert (MS Project preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-10 years' experience as a Project Scheduler in related industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage resource management schedules for all assigned projects.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a scheduling management system.
• Identify process efficiencies and create and manage new processes to drive efficiencies within project schedules.
• Review progressed schedules against schedule deadlines.
• Participate in meetings with senior operations management, peers and/or customers.
• Participate in estimating and bidding projects, contract negotiations, and change order preparation.
• Identify potential scheduling delays and facilitate remedial action.
• Track and report on the progress of project activities.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, team members, and other stakeholders to gather information and update schedules.
• Works independently on complex assignments to establish the Proposal or Project Baseline Schedule.
• Lead and execute Project Planning and Execution Planning Session.
• Lead and execute Logic Development, Schedule Updates and Forecasting.
• Ensure client Project Controls and Reporting specifications and requirements are met per contract.
• Supports Project Management with project reporting requirements.
