Job summary

Elite Executive Solutions seeks a Traveling Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead data center construction in Fort Stockton, Texas. This is a site-based, travel-heavy role with seniority preferred, reporting to the client’s construction leadership.

You will direct multi-hundred-million projects, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate design teams, subcontractors and owners, and mentor junior staff while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related discipline.
• Strong forecasting, procurement, contract and team leadership skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6 and Procore and/or CMiC.
• Ability to work on site in Fort Stockton; PM-level flexibility will be discussed during screening.

Responsibilities

• Direct data center delivery on projects of $100M+ from preconstruction to closeout.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cost-to-complete reviews, billing and changes.
• Coordinate field staff, design teams, subcontractors and owner representatives.
• Maintain schedules, procurement priorities and recovery plans for milestones.
• Oversee contracts, RFIs, submittals, scope gaps and long-lead equipment tracking.
• Support safety, quality planning and coordination of civil/structural/architectural/MEP scopes.
• Lead client meetings, communicate risks and mentor the team.

Traveling Project Manager or Senior Project Manager

Data Center Construction - Fort Stockton, TX

Elite Executive Solutions is partnering with a general contractor to identify an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead data center construction in Fort Stockton, Texas. This is a traveling, site-based opportunity, with preference for a Senior Project Manager.

This opportunity is ideal for a construction leader who combines financial discipline, strong field coordination and experience delivering complex projects through turnover.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct $100M+ data center delivery, including preconstruction input, project execution and closeout.
• Manage budgets, monthly forecasting, cost-to-complete reviews, billings and change management.
• Coordinate superintendents, project staff, design teams, subcontractors and owner representatives.
• Maintain project schedules, procurement priorities and recovery plans for critical milestones.
• Oversee contracts, RFIs, submittals, scope gaps and long-lead equipment tracking.
• Support safe execution, quality planning and coordination of civil, structural, architectural and MEP scopes.
• Lead client meetings, communicate project risks and mentor project team members.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in commercial construction project management and 7+ years leading data center builds for the Senior PM level.
• Experience directing complex projects of $100M+ and coordinating building systems design.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related discipline.
• Strong financial forecasting, procurement, contract and team leadership skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6 and Procore and/or CMiC.
• Ability to work on site in Fort Stockton; PM-level flexibility will be discussed during screening.
