Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Traveling Project Manager within the Advanced Facilities Group to lead Self Perform projects nationwide. The role requires steering project direction, coordinating with client design teams and subcontractors, and managing safety, schedule, cost and procurement across multiple sites.

The successful candidate will travel to assigned projects, develop plans, review submittals, manage buyouts, and ensure alignment with JE Dunn's strategy and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• May travel/relocate for project assignments.
• Willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff.
• Manage prestart and preconstruction activities.
• Coordinate buyout schedule and subcontractor pricing.
• Develop and update project schedule with team.
• Interface with owners, design teams and subcontractors.
• Lead monthly project reviews and client meetings.
• Prepare cost and margin forecasts and assist budgeting.
