Job summary

Structure Tone Southwest is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects in the Dallas area. You will plan, manage, and execute project work, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive profitability while meeting owner expectations.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, value engineering, pre-construction meetings, subcontract negotiations, permits, and close-out procedures. Requires five years of PM experience and a civil-related degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• Minimum of five or more years project management experience in commercial construction.
• Has a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Has an in-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes.
• Understands estimating concepts to verify bids and process change orders.
• Understands contractual language and how to protect the company while delivering quality service.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of estimates for the project.
• Prepares project budgets and unit cost reports.
• Leads the project team in preparing the project management plan (PMP).
• Organizes and conducts pre-award and pre-construction meetings.
• Negotiates and prepares project subcontracts.
• Prepares a project schedule and milestones with the project superintendent.
• Manages procurement within budget and schedule constraints.
• Develops and monitors project quality, safety, and risk management plans.
• Monitors cost, safety, quality, and schedule performance with the project superintendent.
• Coordinates with Estimating to provide project cost data.
