Warfel Construction is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to lead geographically remote projects with a strong focus on client satisfaction, schedule performance, and budget adherence. The PM will oversee planning, coordination, and execution while traveling to job sites three or more hours from home, often for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 8+ years of construction project experience with PM responsibilities and client management.

Responsibilities

• Travel frequently to oversee geographically remote construction projects.
• Lead project teams across dispersed job sites with on-site and remote coordination.
• Represent Warfel on-site to build client relationships and promote loyalty.
• Plan start-up activities: contract review, scheduling, logistics, buyout, kickoff.
• Manage financial performance on large projects (up to $50M+): cost, earned value, margins.
• Oversee procurement, subcontract administration, and change orders; mitigate risk.
• Ensure QC, documentation, and compliance with company standards.
• Communicate with owners, design teams, subs, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Direct execution through closeout: RFIs, submittals, pay apps, meetings, docs.
• Mentor team members, manage multiple projects concurrently.
