The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Manager II for our Industrial team. This traveling role requires leadership in risk management, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualified candidates bring seven-plus years of PM experience in construction, lean principles exposure, and proficiency with tools like Procore, Bluebeam, and JDE. Strong communication and client relations are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 7+ years of construction project management experience.
• LEAN principles knowledge desirable; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; learn JDE/Procore/Bluebeam/Asta.
• Strong negotiation, leadership, client relations and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Understand contract terms and keep work in progress within scope.
• Take overall responsibility for risk management and mitigation.
• Collaborate with project team to achieve goals and quality programs.
• Create and manage the project schedule; address long lead items.
• Review contracts, insurances, bonds and change orders before scope execution.
• Complete safety plan and site compliance.
• Oversee drawings, RFIs and submittals.
• Manage subcontractor change orders and buyouts as delegated.
• Support marketing and business development efforts with proposals.
