Job summary

Divcon seeks a Traveling Project Manager to oversee multiple construction projects, from installation to handover, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting client and technical requirements.

The role demands strong PM skills, deep knowledge of building automation and electrical systems, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Expect travel up to 95% and after-hours work as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of building management systems (BMS) and HVAC controls.
• Technical expertise in electrical systems, commissioning, and risk management.
• Excellent problem-solving and client relationship skills.
• OSHA 30 certification required or provided within the first week of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure on-time completion.
• Oversee installation subcontractors and Controls Technicians during commissioning.
• Maintain ongoing client communication to address concerns and manage expectations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.
• Review and approve engineering submittals and drawings before handoff.
• Provide monthly project updates and financial reporting to senior management.
