Job summary

River City Building Group is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to lead construction projects across multiple markets from preconstruction through closeout. You will drive delivery in new locations, work with high-performing teams, and manage client interactions from kickoff to completion.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction management or related fields and are comfortable with travel. The role emphasizes coordinating teams, budgets, and risk management to ensure project success

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management, engineering, architecture, or similar field experience.
• Ability to travel is a must across diverse markets.
• Travel-based role with project delivery responsibility across locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of construction projects with operations, field leadership, preconstruction, and support teams to ensure successful execution.
• Coordinate project teams, schedules, resources, and communication to align stakeholders and deliver outcomes.
• Manage budgets, procurement, forecasting, job costs, cash flow, contract administration, and risk mitigation to keep projects on time and budget.
• Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle, building relationships and ensuring a positive experience.

Position Description

At River City Building Group (RCBG), our Project Managers lead construction projects across diverse geographic markets, serving as the driving force behind successful project delivery from preconstruction through closeout. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in a travel-based environment and enjoy building projects in new locations, with new clients, and alongside high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of construction projects while collaborating with operations, field leadership, preconstruction, and support teams to ensure successful project execution.

Team Coordination

• Coordinate project teams, schedules, resources, and communication to maintain alignment across all stakeholders and deliver exceptional project outcomes.

Project Execution

• Manage project budgets, procurement, forecasting, job costs, cash flow, contract administration, and risk mitigation while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.

Client Experience

• Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle, building trusted relationships and ensuring a positive experience from kickoff through completion.
