Job summary

River City Building Group is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to lead construction projects across multiple markets from preconstruction through closeout. You will drive delivery in new locations, work with high-performing teams, and manage client interactions from kickoff to completion.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction management or related fields and are comfortable with travel. The role emphasizes coordinating teams, budgets, and risk management to ensure project success

Qualifications

5+ years of construction management, engineering, architecture, or similar field experience.
Ability to travel is a must across diverse markets.
Travel-based role with project delivery responsibility across locations.

Responsibilities

Lead all phases of construction projects with operations, field leadership, preconstruction, and support teams to ensure successful execution.
Coordinate project teams, schedules, resources, and communication to align stakeholders and deliver outcomes.
Manage budgets, procurement, forecasting, job costs, cash flow, contract administration, and risk mitigation to keep projects on time and budget.
Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle, building relationships and ensuring a positive experience.
