Job summary

Southwest Concrete Paving seeks an experienced Project Engineer to plan, coordinate and manage onsite construction activities for concrete paving and heavy civil projects across the western United States.

The role requires traveling with project teams, handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and occasional night/weekend work. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred. A full benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience in construction estimating, coordination, and field support.
• Excellent communication and supervisory skills; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage controls to ensure contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.
• Develop and maintain project schedule to ensure on-time completion and budget.
• Support in planning, QC, constructability reviews and design conflict resolutions.
• Represent company in client and project meetings to ensure effective communication.
• Coordinate subcontractor schedules and document submissions.
