Job summary

The Dilling Group in Dallas, TX seeks a Project Controls Specialist to support cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and performance measurement across design-build and plan-spec projects.

You will develop budgets, monitor progress, generate executive dashboards, and collaborate with project managers, field teams, and leadership to ensure projects finish safely on time and within budget. Travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, finance, or related field.
• Three+ years of experience in project controls, cost control, scheduling, estimating, or project management support.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, or large-scale construction environments preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced formulas and data analysis.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Power BI, or related tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Create and maintain project cost reports, earned value analyses, productivity tracking, and forecasting reports.
• Support change management by tracking change orders, scope modifications, and cost/schedule impacts.
• Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and project performance summaries.
• Collaborate with field operations and project management to improve reporting accuracy and forecast reliability.
