Job summary

Lemartec Corporation, part of MasTec’s Clean Energy and Infrastructure, seeks a Project Controls Analyst to assist the Project Manager with planning, cost control, schedules, and project delivery on complex infrastructure projects. This role requires travel up to 30% across the US and relocation as needed.

Based in Miami, FL, the analyst will coordinate contractual requirements, design development, and progress tracking, delivering accurate forecasts and reports for multi-million dollar ventures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management and/or related field with 5+ years’ work experience in engineering/construction.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
• Superior communication skills (oral and written).
• Highly organized and structured.
• In-depth knowledge of standard accounting practices and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Procore Project Management system.
• Project scheduling experience with MS Project and/or Primavera P6.
• Document control experience.
• Ability to travel and/or relocate.
• Experience in projects greater than $50 million.
• Experience with Sage and Procore.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities with PM, schedule management, and cost control.
• Prepare monthly forecasts and FACs, and maintain project cost reports.
• Manage budgets, commitments, and actuals; perform variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Record meeting minutes and maintain documentation.
• Generate project status reports and job cost reports.
• Process subcontractor payments and change orders.
• Support contract administration and risk management.
• Assist with procurement, backcharges, and notices to owners/subcontractors.
