Job summary

British American Household Staffing seeks a polished, experienced butler to run daily household operations for a private family with homes in Miami Beach, FL and Beverly Hills, CA. The role is hands-on, with responsibility for staff coordination and travel with the family as needed.

The position requires travel between locations, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently with tact and discretion.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in butler, household management, or private service roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the household with professionalism and discretion.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs of the home and monitor property.
• Understand and manage household technology, including smart home systems.
• Schedule and oversee household staff to ensure adequate coverage.
• Oversee housekeeping and assist as needed.
• Maintain principal wardrobe, including ironing, repairs, and closet organization.
• Assist with packing for trips and coordinate travel logistics.
• Set the table, serve meals, and provide wait service.
• Maintain plants and floral arrangements throughout the home.
• Coordinate social functions and oversee caterers for parties.
• Manage inventories of china, crystal, silver, and linens.
• Drive principals when needed; handle phones, messages, and deliveries.
