Job summary

Quantum Industrial Services is seeking an experienced Traveling Plumbing Journeyman to install, test, and maintain large-scale plumbing systems across multiple states. You will collaborate with Foremen, Superintendents, and Project Managers to ensure safe, high-quality installations.

The role requires 3+ years of industrial plumbing, a plumbing apprenticeship, and OSHA 10 certification. A Journeyman/Master Plumber license as required by state is preferred. Willingness to travel is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial or industrial plumbing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Journeyman or Master Plumber license where required by state or local regulations.
• Ability to read plumbing drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Knowledge of copper, PVC, PEX, cast iron, and other piping systems.
• Experience with hydrostatic and pneumatic testing.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial plumbing systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and layouts.
• Install piping, fittings, water supply, gas, drainage, and related systems.
• Prepare and install materials according to project requirements.
• Perform pressure, hydrostatic, and leak testing.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Coordinate with Foremen, Superintendents, Project Managers, and other trades.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure installations meet project specifications and applicable codes.
• Follow OSHA and company safety requirements, including proper PPE.
• Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and work areas.
• Document completed work, testing, inspections, and material usage.
• Assist with training and mentoring less-experienced plumbers.
