Job summary

Life Line Screening is seeking a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant to join our community healthcare team. You will travel to different locations each day, performing venipuncture, basic medical assisting duties, and screening procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of venipuncture experience, strong customer service, and willingness to cross-train as a Medical Assistant. Certification in phlebotomy is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive work experience with customer-facing Medical Assistant and phlebotomy duties.
• 1+ year hands-on venipuncture experience in high-volume settings.
• Desire to cross-train as a Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Cross train and participate in all core Medical Assistant duties including Ankle Brachial Index, Osteoporosis, AFIB, Registration and Laboratory screening areas.
• Review participant records for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct Venipuncture and finger-sticks as scheduled.
• Monitor patients for reactions and ensure sample quality.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comfort while meeting service expectations.
• Oversee sanitation and cleaning of equipment and work areas between patients.
• Package and ship specimens to central lab daily where applicable.
