Life Line Screening is seeking a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant to join our community healthcare team. You will work in a fast-paced setting and travel to different locations daily, performing venipuncture, ankle brachial index, and other screenings while maintaining customer service excellence.

The ideal candidate has hands-on phlebotomy experience, proficiency with centrifuges, and a strong commitment to accuracy, patient confidentiality, and teamwork.

Qualificações

• Extensive work experience with customer-facing Medical Assistant and phlebotomy duties
• Precision phlebotomy skills with a minimum of 1 year of experience with adult venipuncture
• Experienced with centrifuge and separating serum and plasma specimens into transport tubes using transfer devices
• Skilled in inpatient or outpatient draw experience (hospital, nursing home, doctor’s office traveling phlebotomist, or draw center, etc.)
• Desire to provide unparalleled customer service
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for coverage under the company’s vehicle insurance policy
• Strength in teamwork & collaboration; sharing responsibilities driving the company van, loading, and unloading equipment (up to 50 lbs)
• Certification in phlebotomy from either the ASCP, NPA, NHA or AMT is preferred

Responsabilidades

• Cross train and participate in allcore Medical Assistant duties including Ankle Brachial Index, Osteoporosis, AFIB, Registration and Laboratory screening areas
• Review participant records for accuracy and completeness
• Conduct Venipuncture and finger-sticks, where scheduled
• Monitor patients for reactions as well as ensure the quality of the sample
• Ensure patient confidentiality and comfortability while meeting customer service expectations throughout entire process
• Oversee and ensure proper sanitation and cleaning of equipment and work areas between patients
• Properly package and ship specimens to central lab on a daily basis, where applicable
