Traveling Phlebotomist and Medical Technician - Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Medical Technician/Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team at our Deer Park, TX site for a full-time position. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to demonstrate: organizational skills, efficiency in all task and attention to detail

• Knowledge of current diagnostic tests, their functions, and normal results.

• Must adhere to the service expectations of CORE, LLC.

DUTIES

• Adheres to all CORE, LLC policies and procedures.
• Adheres to departmental Quality Assurance procedures.
• Obtains basic history, and medical information, and takes vital signs.
• Administers intramuscular injections under authorization and supervision of physician in accordance with State of Louisiana law and prevailing CORE, LLC agreements and protocols.
• Performs collection of vital signs, Performs visual acuity and color testing.
• Performs urine specimen collection following DOT regulations and/or chain of custody requirements.
• Performs 12 lead EKGs.
• Performs other duties as required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Current National Phlebotomy Certification (strongly preferred)
• Current CPR/BLS Certification (preferred)
• Pass DISA Drug and Alcohol Screening
• TWIC Card (preferred)Basic Orientation Plus from Alliance Safety Council (preferred)Class D/Chauffeur's Driver's License (strongly preferred or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire)Must have available transportation with up-to-date insurance coverageStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees
