Job summary

Plunkett's Pest Control is seeking a Traveling Service Technician to move between branches, learn quickly, and tackle diverse pest problems. You’ll travel for about 30% of the time, with hotel and travel costs covered, and gain hands-on experience that accelerates your pest control career.

You will identify pests, treat homes and businesses the right way, and work toward obtaining state pest control licenses while supported by a strong team and a company truck for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Willing to travel, including overnight trips about 30% of the time.
• Self-starter energy and ability to work independently.
• Comfort using a tablet or phone app to log work.

Responsibilities

• Jump into open routes across branches and keep customers happy with great service
• Back up other technicians when things get busy or someone's out
• Travel between branches, including overnight trips about 30% of the time (hotel and travel covered) and daily drives of roughly 100-200 miles
• Learn to identify pests and treat homes and businesses the right way
• Work toward your state pest control license and certifications
• Log your work using a company tablet
• Bring your A-game to every customer interaction
• Keep your company truck and gear in top shape
