Job summary

Compass Group USA's TouchPoint team is hiring Travel Patient Observation Assistants to provide visual and audible monitoring of patients under RN direction. This traveling role flexes across multiple Ascension Wisconsin locations, with both full-time and part-time schedules, and a fixed pay rate of $17.50 per hour.

New hires complete training at Ascension All Saints Hospital in Racine, and must be able to travel between sites, lift up to 50 pounds, and obtain CPR/AED or BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• Ability to travel reliably between multiple locations.
• CPR AED or BLS-HCP certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• One to two years of previous patient services experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visually and audibly monitors the assigned patient's condition and behavior.
• Completes observation reports at established interval.
• Honors all confidentiality and regulatory requirements.
• Accepts and absorbs department and hospital education program.
• Assists other associates as necessary. Responds to direction as provided.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
