Westrock Orthodontics in Missouri is seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to join our clinical team across Lee's Summit and Raymore locations. You will work under licensed Orthodontists, supporting exams and treatments, while delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced, friendly setting with a 4-day work week and no Fridays.

You will prepare operatories, assist with appliances, educate patients on oral hygiene, and help maintain accurate treatment notes.

Formación

• Prior experience in dental or orthodontic assisting is required.
• Familiarity with orthodontic terminology, procedures and clinical appliances.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Assist orthodontists during examinations and treatments, including wires, appliance placement and adjustments.
• Guide patients through treatment plans and educate on oral hygiene and appliance care.
• Prepare operatories, sterilize equipment, document treatment notes and support clinic operations.

Job Description

At Westrock Orthodontics, we're passionate about transforming lives through confident, lifelong smiles. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our clinical team. In this role, you'll help support our Lee's Summit, MO and Raymore, MO locations with a 4 day work week no Fridays. Working under the direct supervision of our licensed Orthodontists, you will play a hands‑on role in delivering exceptional clinical care, keeping daily workflows efficient, and creating outstanding patient experiences every step of the way.

What You’ll Do

• Clinical Assisting: Partner directly with the Orthodontist during examinations and treatments, placing and removing wires, coil springs, bands, and retainers.
• Patient Care & Education: Guide patients through their treatment plans, instruct them on proper oral hygiene and appliance care, and keep them comfortable throughout their visits.
• Clinic Operations: Prepare operatories, sterilize equipment, perform digital scans, assist in fabricating customized appliances/retainers, and maintain accurate treatment notes.
