Job summary

Lane & Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a Traveling Orthodontic Assistant to support orthodontists across multiple NC offices, including Hamlet, Southern Pines, and Fayetteville. You will provide chairside assistance, prepare operatory setups, and help manage Invisalign cases using the iTero scanner.

This role requires travel between sites, strong organization, and reliable transportation. You’ll assist with radiographs, sterilization, inventory, and patient care under supervision.

Qualifications

• Chairside dental assistant certificate required.
• North Carolina X-Ray Certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Reinforce oral hygiene and at-home care instructions to patients with orthodontic appliances.
• Seat and prepare patients for treatment, including arch wires as needed.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness between procedures.
• Expose and develop radiographs and support Invisalign records.
