Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking a traveling Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team across several Florida locations. The role involves assisting the dental team, preparing rooms, sterilizing instruments, and educating patients, while supporting dentists during procedures.

Ideal candidates have dental assisting training or experience and strong organizational and communication skills. This traveling role includes mileage reimbursement and a fast-paced environment with varied daily

At Great Expressions Dental Centers, we're seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team and positively impact our patients' oral health. This is a traveling position with the following weekly schedule – Mileage reimbursement is provided:

• Monday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM – Regency - 2468 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511
• Tuesday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM – Downtown - 114 N 12th Street, Tampa, FL 33602
• Wednesday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM – Carrollwood - 15148 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33618
• Thursday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM – Land O' Lakes - 2091 Collier Parkway, Land O' Lakes, FL 34639
• Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM – Pasadena - 1458 66th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33707

Responsibilities:

• Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environment
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow
• Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist
• Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately

Qualifications:

• Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.

• Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus

Requirements:

• Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
• Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
• Michigan: Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
• New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.
• New York: Not applicable.
• Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)
• Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
