Great Expressions Dental Centers is hiring a part-time Dental Assistant to join our busy practice in Florida. The role requires travel to three offices with mileage reimbursement; duties include assisting the dental team, preparing rooms, sterilization, patient education, and supporting dentists during procedures.

Ideal candidates have dental assisting experience or training, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Join our dynamic and thriving dental practice as a Dental Assistant! At Great Expressions Dental Centers, we're seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team and positively impact our patients' oral health. This will be a part-time position, working on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. It involves traveling to three different offices, with mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities:

• Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environment
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow
• Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist

Requirements:

Before applying, it is imperative that you meet the state requirements outlined below.

• Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
• Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
• Michigan: Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
• New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.
• New York: Not applicable.
• Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)
• Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
