Job summary

Confederated Tribes Of The Colville Reservation seeks an Optometrist to examine eyes, diagnose ocular conditions, and develop treatment plans. You may travel between Nespelem Health Clinic locations, maintaining professional care with cultural sensitivity.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry program.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Washington state optometry license.
• Must have a DEA license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to understand, speak, communicate and read the English language.
• Ability to utilize RPMS and EHR proficiently.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams using optometric equipment and diagnostic interpretation.
• Diagnose and treat ocular disease.
• Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses and contact lenses.
• Refer patients to other providers when needed and follow up on care options.
• Maintain clinic protocols and documentation with confidentiality.
